I went to an anti-Olympic talk at Okanagan College, hoping to get something interesting out of it. The talk unfortunately didn’t provide much oomph in of itself. But the police decided to help out by giving the talk their attention and then trying to accost one of the presenters in the parking lot afterward.
Why do we accept a police state as part of the price of holding the Games?
